I've been watching the Olympic Trials in swimming and...
Wow.

Siiiiigh. ; ; Well, so far my summer has been nice. Sometimes. I was going to go to the Renaissance Festival today but we never did. Last weekend..or maybe the weekend before I ran the Lyons River Run 5k. Placed 2nd in my age group! I had 20:49. Winning girl is this same girl who beat me when I was like 12 in the Bolder Boulder Run, omfg. She's some crazybeast.

Tomorrow we're going on a 10 mile race. I don't know how it'll go though, or if I can make it. I've never run 10 miles flat. So...I guess we'll see tomorrow.

I've considered naming my carpet python Milk after the adorable milk mustache he has XD JUST THOUGHT I'D TELL YOU ALL BECAUSE I KNOW YOU CARE SO MUCH.
Um. I spent like an hour and a half scanning all this crap and then I was too lazy to put it in a sketch dump.

Fourth of July wasn't all too eventful. We still had practice, but it mostly consisted of us playing slide and polo in the pool with our shirts on. Which is harder than you'd think XD Two of my friends and I went to see Wall-E, which was cute. We stayed up that night playing pokemon monopoly and eating Milky Ways and MnMs. I just had dried mango until I sploded, though. Then of course I had to get up for practice while they were still asleep...go and play ridiculous games in the pool with T-shirts and then sneak back XD
I butchered time in that paragraph so I guess good luck figuring out what goes when. I've been chewing gum and toothpicks like a beast. Hm.

Well. I just haven't really done one of these in a while so I'm sorta checking..in. Stuff happens in my day, but nothing else really worth wasting your 5 seconds reading. I think I shall procrastinate a bit more and then...sleep for the run tommorrow.

I told a team I would try and look into finding possible artists for their site. It's a petsite in the making. Don't know what a petsite is? And for the love of peanuts don't think neopets.

That's the kind of style they tend to use for the actual pets. Varies lots, but fairly simple cell shading. Take just a glance at *VanillaKitsune's gallery and you'll see the crazysauce ideal style though. I think at least. S'very...pretty :E

My scanner is back! Finally! yeeehappyday111oneone. I couldn't install it before. ; ; So many rotting doodles omfg.

Anyways. That is UBAR. For me at least. So I'm slightly cheered after my not-so-super day. What did lazy Zilo do today you may ask? Well, my one sleep in day was forfeited so I could do a 5k Fathers Day Run.
Which was actually fine. Not that many racers, but I was still stressed. I did it alone since my father was playing tennis. /: Ah well. But the real bummer...I was racing to get my 3 mile time, but this course was like a maze inside the CU Campus.

I was in second place until the very last 1/10th of a Mile...I turned the wrong way.

I ran into a Marshall who went "I thought I saw you already..10 minutes ago"
So I didn't even place by the time I'd run all the way back. I was totally beat up over it too. I was some 2 minutes ahead of the next lead.

Sorry, I only took this last-minute with my camera of fail, and I was afraid to bother him any more with some bright light. His colors are so soft, though. If he lets me handle him in a few days I'll try to get a better pic. ;]
